  When I was a child I approached a pastor working here about abuse in my home, instead of reporting it as any member of the clergy especially one with a License to practice Psychology is legally required, he instead informed my father of what we spoke about resulting in increased and further abuse.

  This church is very sound in its doctrine of the Bible. It has a very solid grounding in the Word. Theology is correct. The church is very simular to Grace Community Church (John MacArthur's church). I had never heard teaching like this before. They also follow Biblical church discipline. This church is amazing. My wife and I have grown tremendously over the years we have been there.

  This review is for the great Baptist Church & also for the previous reviewer "Cole."
  I find it strange that you reviewed this location and the one in Elk Grove exactly the same, when they aren't anywhere near eachother. Furthermore you are insulting/accusing a whole congregation based on your supposed allegation of an experience with one man, from years and years ago (when you were a child)! I simply cannot see this God led Church or any of their leaders who are sincerely devoted to furthering God's will, doing such an out of characer violation to you or anyone! Sounds like you should consider therapy.

  Country Oaks has been our church home for 25 years for one important reason, their unwavering commitment to preaching the Word of God week after week. Styles (even people) may come, and go, but like the true God of Scripture, the Good News of Jesus Christ never changes.
